Personal data are all kinds of information which to some extent may be referred to you. When you use our website, we collect and retain a number of such data. E.g. this happens when accessing our contents, when signing up for our newsletter, when participating in competitions or research investigations, when registering as user or subscriber as well as other use of services or when placing an order via the website. We typically collect and retain the following type of data: A unique ID and technical information about your computer, tablet or mobile phone, your IP number, geographical location, and your website navigation (interests). To the extent that you explicitly accept and by yourself enter the data, we will further retain: Name, phone number, e-mail, address and payment data, typically in connection with creating a login or making a purchase.

We have taken technical and organizational steps to make sure that your data will not by chance or illegally be deleted, published, lost, deteriorated or get into the knowledge of unauthorized persons, be misused or in any other way be retained against the law.

The data are used to identify you as user and show you the advertisements which in all probability will be of interest to you; to register your orders and payments and to be able to deliver the services you require, e. g. sending you our newsletter. Additionally, we use the information to optimize our services and contents.

Data are kept for a period of time in compliance with legislation and are deleted when no longer necessary. The period of retention depends on the character of the information and the reason for retaining it. Therefore, it is not possible to indicate in general terms after how long time personal data will be deleted.

Data regarding your use of the website, advertisements requested and maybe clicked on, geographical location, gender and age segment etc. may be disclosed to third parties to the extent that they are known to us. The information will be used to target our advertising.

Additionally, we use third parties to retain and process data. These third parties will process the data on our behalf only and are not permitted to use the information for their own purposes.

Personal data such as name and e-mail etc. will only be disclosed if you have accepted it. We only use data processing services in the EU or in countries which will protect your data adequately.

You are entitled to gain insight into the personal data which we have retained about you. Further you are at any time entitled to oppose to the collection and to the further retention of your personal data. You may also withdraw your acceptance that your personal data are retained. If the data retained about you are incorrect, you are entitled to have them rectified or deleted. Any such query may be addressed to: mail@liftup.dk. If you wish to make a complaint about our retention of your personal data, you have the possibility to make a complaint to the Danish Protection Agency.
