In 2024, we conducted a life cycle assessment (LCA) of our FlexStep product to better understand and reduce our environmental impact.

Waste and Resources
We are continuously working to reduce waste from our production. Liftup takes back all packaging, sorts it, and recycles it either for our own products or in collaboration with environmentally certified partners.

Design for Disassembly
Our products are designed to be easily assembled and disassembled, extending their lifespan to over 20 years and facilitating proper recycling of materials at the end of their lifecycle.

Byggvarubedömningen (BVD) is a non-profit organization established by Sweden's largest contractors and housing developers. BVD evaluates and approves products based on various sustainability parameters and provides this information to buyers in housing development projects. Their vision is to promote the development of a toxin-free and sustainable built environment in Sweden for both current and future generations. Liftup supports this initiative, and together with Trident, we have reviewed all components of FlexStep and mapped their weight, materials, and contents. We expect FlexStep to be approved by BVD in Q3 2024.
