Comfort and safety

ROLL ON/OFF

When FlexStep is used as a wheelchair lift, the ramp folds down for the user to roll onto/off the platform. The ramp is raised and locked before the lift can start to move.
CRUSH-GUARD UNDER PLATFORM
Pressure plates under the platform stop lift operation if an object is detected under the platform.
INFRA-RED SENSORS
Infra-red safety device between the steps minimises the risk of crushing.
AUTOMATIC STOP IN CASE OF OVERLOAD
In the event of overload or uneven weight distribution, the platform will stop automatically.
AUTOMATIC Onboard BARRIER

The automatic Onboard barrier (optional extra) enhances the feeling of safety.
ACOUSTIC ALARMS

FlexStep

The finishing touch with a fixed staircase

A fixed staircase can be built indoors aswell as outdoors. A fixed staircase is installed leading up to a front wall and floor and can be supplied with round or square balustrades to harmonise with FlexStep.

Fixed steps are available in step widths of 700 mm, 800 mm, 900 mm or 1,000 mm
